Kristina Olsen : Love Kristina

It's been a few years since I've heard Kristina perform live, so when I had the chance at Woodford Festival I made sure to go along to a couple of her performances.

Kristina Olsen has the most stage presence of any female singer songwriter I know and writes amazing songs which are generallly played on a Delta Steel Guitar.

Love Kristina, is about 13 years old now, but is still as strong as her newer material. From the sad Keeping This Life Of Mine (Song For Battered Women) through to the upbeat Little Brother Sure Can Dance every track on this album is a winner.

If you've never heard Kristina before, make sure you check her out as there's no-one else who quite matches her folk meets blues style. And when performing live, you'll never find anyone who matches her hilarious, often naughty stories!
