Mike Surratt - Not Accordion 2 the RuleZ!

Mike Surratt is an Accordion player extraordinaire who is comfortable playing in a wide range of styles and who sets out to "demolish all the or stereotypes pertaining to accordions, accordion music and even accordion players."

Although a lover of the Polka - as evidenced in another of his CD's, The Polka Element - his playing on Not Accordion 2 the RuleZ! takes you on a musical journey spanning the globe - Greece, The Sahara Desert, Pacific Islands and beyond.

With titles like Psycho Pirate, Beach Bunny Blast and Sonic Squeeze, you know you've got to expect the unexpected! Mike does just that, proving that the Accordion is an extremely versatile instrument capable of covering a range of emotions and moods.

All the tunes are original as well, which makes this album even more interesting as there's not a lot of modern music written for Accordion (well, as far as I know).
