WIG AND PEN 20TH JUNE
2001 |

| "Yeah, well I don't like you either!" |
You really don't want to know the details about
this relationship! |
Chris looking amused at something. |
| Dave used to be in the original version of Katyusha
many years ago when we were a wanna-be Irish band called Gan Ainm.
It meant "no name" and we all thought it was a great joke.
The joke wore thin when no-one could remember, pronounce or spell
our name. A bit like Katyusha really. |
Mr Jorge Bontemps (left), one of Canberra's finest
Latin American musicians and Celeste (right) catch up and reminisce
on old times. |
Not only do you turn up to last month's Wig and
Pen gig without your rosin, but you're late tonight and then you
leave in the middle of the first set to answer a phone call. |

| "Bloody terrible I tell you! He should be sacked
from the band!" |
"I agree!" |
"Wake me up when it's all over please." |
| Hmm... |
"That hits the spot." |
| "We don't like this band!" |
"We don't either!" |
"I'm undecided on it." |

| Dave and Graeme |
Mick actually bought the wrong Bodrahn to the gig
and also forgot his Tipper. He had to borrow a saw from the bar
staff which he then used to cut a drumstick in half as a makeshift
Tipper. |
Nigel's actually woken up now. |
| Graeme (shown wearing the traditional Bayles family
forehead plectrum) relaxes into The American Set. |
Smooch. |
A hyperactive Mick gets really excited
and begins playing all his instruments at once. |
