Fianna : 2 original tunes and a Rachenitsa

Fianna : 2 original tunes and a Rachenitsa Fianna combine an eclectic mix of Irish and Balkan music and were originally founded by János Lang (fiddle) and Kornél Varga (guitar).

Although originally playing only Irish music, their tours of Hungary performing at Celtic venues led to them developing a love of Balkan and Eastern European traditions.

Since then, their repertoire has grown to include a mixture of Irish, Scandanavian and Balkan tunes and creative mixes of everything in pieces such as The Wind that Shakes the Paprika.

This particular set of tunes includes 2 original Balkan influenced tunes and a Rachenitsa (a Bulgarian dance in 7/8) played on Bouzouki, Concertina, Uilleann Pipes and Fiddle, Double Bass and Percussion
