The International Gathering of Instrument-Makers and Master Pipes of Saint-Chartier : July 10 - 14 : Boulegan, France

Each year, more than 10 000 music and danse fans attend this festival dedicated to hurdy-gurdies and bagpipes along with other traditional instruments.

Bladnoch Folk and Blues Festival III

Bladnoch Folk and Blues Festival III is a three day event held in the unique venue of Bladnoch Distillery, South West Scotland from the 28th - 30th August 2009. Artists such as Skerryvore and Bellvue Rendezvous will be performing together with many others and there will be dance and junk music workshops, a climbing wall and face painter to entertain the kids and a busking competition and pub sessions in the local area.
