Based out of the Brazilian Cultural Center of New England, the group is the real thing. The Cultural Center was recently named an international Culture Point by none other than Brazil's Minister of Culture, Gilberto Gil. Here in Boston (where this video was shot) it is rare to have the chance to dance samba, outdoors, in the warm sun. Boston is home to one of the largest Brazilian populations in the U.S., so this could be as close to a Brazilian carnival atmosphere as you can get in North America.
