Bizerka, a Melbourne-based world music, gypsy inspired band, play the Greek tune Hasapiksos Horos and Macadonian tune Sadila Jana. These were recorded at Bar 303, High St Northcote by Melska.
Bubamara (Goran Bregovich) from Black Cat White Cat played by Bizerka
Made famous in the film Black Cat White Cat, Bubamara is a cheeky little song about Lady Beetles and was composed by Goran Bregovich. In this version, Melska sings it with the Melbourne gypsy-influenced band, Bizerka. This was recorded live at Majors Creek Folk Festival on November 15 2008.
